A message to all students thinking about studying at Sheringham…

I am pleased and excited to be writing this as an introduction to the Sheringham Sixth Form. A detailed prospectus is available to download from this site.

The whole Sheringham Campus - with the High School, the Primary School and Sheringham Woodfields School -  has changed enormously over the last couple of years and Sheringham Sixth Form is benefiting from, and moving with, the changes. Most exciting are the facts that the High School and Sixth form Centre was awarded specialist Performing Arts from September 2006, as well as becoming a Microsoft Sponsored School, which means, in addition to exciting and attractive new facilities, we are also able to offer new courses and opportunities in our Sixth Form – you will see details in our brochure Sheringham Sixth Form – the Pathways.

What can we offer you?

Sheringham Sixth Form can provide you with:

·         a first class academic education in your chosen subjects;

·         the opportunity to develop as an individual, make new friends and gain work experience;

·         support and guidance towards your future  from experienced sixth form tutors – whether that future be university, further training or employment;

·         an ideal environment:. We are large enough to offer a wide range of courses, catering for most future plans and careers, but also remain small enough to care about each individual student;

·         great facilities. Purpose built and recently extended buildings offer a large sixth form common room, specialist teaching rooms, a study room and plenty of computers! We also benefit from the High School’s facilities e.g. a superb library, modern drama and music rooms and not forgetting an all-weather sports pitch!
