Year 9 Rotary Club Success

Youth speaking

On Wednesday evening, a group of three Year 9 students from Sheringham High School - Joshua , Eliza and Evie - competed in the first round of this year's Rotary Club Intermediate Youth Speaks competition at Springwood High School in Kings Lynn. Up against some very confident and articulate entries from five other local schools, they managed to impress the judges in all areas of assessment (teamwork, quality of argument, presentation skills) to the extent that they were crowned overall winners of that stage of the competition.

Josh, Eliza and Evie will now represent the North Norfolk area in the next round of Youth Speaks, which will take place in Brandon next term.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
